Uniform Changes for 2011

There will be some changes to the uniform over the next few years, beginning in 2011 with new shirts for years 7-13 and a new skirt for year 13 girls.

All new students coming in 2011 will purchase the new shirts. Existing students will have the option of buying the new or wearing the current uniform for 2011.

NEW UNIFORM

  • Smarter.
  • Improved cut of the skirt, trousers & shorts.
  • Improved materials.
  • Hard wearing.

COSTS

  • Less shirts purchased, e.g. Boarder - 6 down to 3 and Day Student - 4 down to 2.
  • Skirts cheaper.
  • Trousers / shorts more expensive to be phased in.

OLD STOCK

  • There will be a phase in period of 1 year being 2011.
  • Old stock has been discounted.
  • 2nd Hand prices have been dropped.

2ND HAND UNIFORM

  • The existing year 7-12 shirts & polo’s will be accepted for resale only for 2011, as it is new shirts from 2011 for year 13, no shirts or polo’s can be accepted for resale.
  • There will be less 2nd hand clothing available.

The new trousers are being phased in now & other new items will be gradually phased in over time.
