| Why would I send my child to St Peter's? |

| Do you have bullying in the School? |
We aim to be a bully free school and this is constantly monitored and well-disciplined. There are clear policies and practices in place to deal with any matters in this domain.
| What are the School Rules? |
These are given to you before you start. They are also displayed on notice boards around the school. There is zero tolerance for drugs, alcohol or inappropriate contact on the campus.
| How often can the Students have leave? |
Weekend leave is very flexible and students can go home after sporting and cultural commitments at weekends.
| What sort of discipline does the School have? |
The School Rules include clear guidelines on behaviour. Clear outcomes for misbehaviour are set out, including detention, Saturday detentions, and suspension.
| What are St Peter's Mondays? |
Twice per term the students must go out of the boarding houses and this includes the Monday. The extra day is so students who live a long way from home can travel home and back and to have time for shopping, haircuts, dentist appointments, time with family and friends.
| How often do we have Chapel? |
Chapel is central to our School life. Students attend Chapel once per week in year levels. Boarders attend Chapel every two weeks, on a rotational basis.
Religious Studies is established as part of every student’s curriculum.

Students involved in Sports Studies, Outdoor Education and senior Physical Education programmes are also involved in camps in.
Music camp is held annually in Term 3.
| Must my child play a musical instrument? |
Every student is expected to take part in a cultural activity which could include learning a musical instrument, being involved in the school production or Stage Challenge (either front of house or back stage), singing in the choir, chess club, bands, etc. All students are involved in House Music and House Public speaking competitions.
Yes, we have grazing for your horse in Terms 1, 2 and 4 – no horses are on campus during term 3.
| How many Boarders do you have? |
We have approximately 440 boarders and 620 day students.
| How do Students get to School? |
There are eleven day buses coming and going everyday from Hamilton, Cambridge, Morrinsville, Matamata, Putaruru and Te Awamutu.
Buses arrive by 8:15 am each day and leave at 5 pm (Mondays to Thursdays, and at 3:35 pm Fridays)
| Do you stream any classes? |
The Year 7 and 8 classes are streamed.
Year 9 and 10 are streamed for both English and Maths.
The top 4 sets from Year 9 study Cambridge Mathematics.
