Each student is a member of a competitive house and inter-house rivalry is strong. The students compete in their houses for Athletics, Swimming, Cross-country, Debating, Singing and even Rock bands.

A tally is kept of the House points throughout the year and the winning house is awarded the House Trophy at the end of year prizegiving.

The four competitive houses are:

• Chandler (Yellow)
• Hanna (Blue)
• Swears (Green)
• Thornton (Red)

Each house has two staff members overseeing their team and two House Leaders to organize the house events.
