Sustainable Living
St Peter’s is one of a few schools in New Zealand to have a Silver Enviro Schools award and is now working towards the Green/Gold award.
St Peter’s aims to model sustainable behaviour to its pupils and larger school community, having recycling, replanting, and energy saving programmes in place.
Awareness of local environmental concerns such as water quality and biodiversity are highlighted through Curriculum and the pupil led Enviro group.
