St Peter's attracts over 100 students each year into its rowing programme. The School's proximity to Lake Karapiro provides the ideal venue for crews to train and race.

St Peter's has its own rowing facilities, a boat shed at Karapiro with a full range of skiffs and a land-based training centre at school with weights and ergs.  Male and female crews compete in the sweep oar and sculling events in the U15 through to U18 age groups.

Rowing provides students with a truly unique and rewarding sporting experience, teaching them the values of commitment and co-operation.

Rowing is headed by Janey Wackrow (Director of Rowing) and supported by a dedicated team of coaches.
