St Peter’s School, Cambridge was founded on the vision and generosity of Arthur Broadhurst in 1936. Not only did he fund the establishment of the school himself, he donated it to a trust to administer, and he personally paid the school fees of a large number of students to ensure that quality education was available of a wide cross-section of New Zealanders.

St Peter’s School is a charitable trust. The money raised from school fees covers the day-to-day running of the school. Sponsorship and philanthropy allows us to keep developing the facilities of St Peter’s, to continue providing scholarships, and to support students to continue at our school in cases of financial hardship. There is no profit. There are no shareholders. All donations and sponsorship funds are used to benefit our school and wider community. With the help of our donors, sponsors, and partners, we can continue to offer incredible opportunities to students into the future.
