Years 7–8 Facilities

Our Prep students (Years 7–8) enjoy exceptional learning environments. Their homerooms, our beautiful campus, the specialist facilities of the secondary school, and our world class sports facilities combine to create an holistic environment where each student can thrive.

The Prep Block is designed to complement our learning programmes. It provides open, flexible and interactive learning spaces that enable our students to work effectively as individuals and as collaborative groups. Each space has a strong connections with the green open spaces that surround the Prep Block. It also provides a common common room where our students can relax, socialise and make snacks. The forward-thinking design of our Prep Block reflects the creativity, innovation and engagement at work in our Prep classrooms every day. The St Peter’s Prep Block

Our Prep students benefit from experiencing the specialised learning facilities of the secondary school, including our science labs, technology workshops, music suites, dance studio, the Business and Entrepreneurial Centre, and more.

Prep Students also have access to the whole school facilities of St Peter’s. Our superb Library and Information Centre provides many print and digital resources that support learning. The Robb Sports Centre offers a climbing wall; basketball, netball, badminton and squash courts, and a fitness gym. We have two heated swimming pools, a hockey turf, tennis courts, walking tracks, mountain bike trails, pitches for rugby, football, cricket and more. In PE classes our Prep students use the outstanding facilities of our golf, swimming, tennis and cycling academies. Our rowing and equestrian academies provide unique opportunities for our Prep student. The large green open spaces, playing fields and adventure playground all give our students space to be young teenagers, to be active or reflective, and to enjoy the wonderful environment of St Peter’s.
