The Cricket Academy at St Peter’s, Cambridge is one of our four Junior Sports Academies. It is designed for Years 7–10 students and operates as part of their Physical Education curriculum. The Junior Sports Academies will deliver the same outcomes as the Physical Education curriculum but through the context of their chosen sport.

The Junior Sports Academies provide students with a unique opportunity to develop both physical and mental sport-specific skills under the tuition of experienced coaches.

Students receive expert guidance in each academy on individual core skills, game understanding and an introduction to Strength and Conditioning which is underpinned by the New Zealand Curriculum.

The Junior Sports Academies are designed to ensure all students reach their full potential in their chosen sport.

Our Cricket Academy provides a high-quality programme that develops cricketers who possess excellent technical abilities and who understand the tactical, mental and physical requirements of the game.

Our expert coaches create tailored training for our academy cricketers to enhance their fundamental skills and develop their niche skills within the team.

Our Cricket Academy aims to consistently produce representative players at age-group, first class, and international levels. It provides clear pathways for students to achieve their ambitions in cricket.
