Effective from Term 1, 2012

All amounts are shown in NZ$ and include Goods and Services Tax (GST). The St Peter’s School Trust Board review fees on an annual basis.

Fees and Enrolment Expenses 

Outlined below is a comprehensive summary of all fees and costs at St Peter’s School, Cambridge.

 
International Tuition Fees: (Years 7 - 8)

$31,340 per annum

   
International Tuition Fees: (Years 9 - 13)

Acceptance Fee

The Acceptance Fee is non refundable and payable only once

Imprest Deposit (Alumni Membership)

An imprest deposit of $250 per student is payable on entry to the School. 

This deposit is payable only once and is non-refundable. The imprest deposit will be converted into fees for life membership of the St Peter’s School Alumni Association for your child when they leave St Peter’s

Accommodation

Boarding Fee (Years 7-8) 

$10,910 per annum

Boarding Fee (Years 9-13)

$12,195  per annum

Homestay for Boarding students for leave weekends and holidays (estimated)

$2,800 per annum

Homestay for Day students (45 weeks)

$9,900 per annum

NCEA Examinations

Please note that there will be other discretionary expenses which may be charged to a student’s account.  These types of disbursements vary from student to student, but typically range between NZ$2,000-$3000 per year.

These expenses include:

  • Academy fee
  • Local travel
  • Airport transfers
  • School stationery
  • Music tuition
  • School doctor and pharmacy
  • Visa applications
  • Personal toiletries / haircuts
  • Purchase of telephone cards
  • Extra tuition
  • International holiday trips

The total expenditure that parents need to plan for is approximately NZ$53,000

Transition Fee

Students who enrol as International students and later qualify for the Ministry of Education subsidy will be charged domestic fees plus a transition fee for two years of $13,000 per annum.

Homestay

Homestay accommodation for leave weekends and holidays approximately $2,800 per annum if required.
