2022 IB Results

The St Peter’s 2022 International Baccalaureate cohort, who have all achieved the full diploma.

Today the International Baccalaureate (IB) November 2022 results have been released, and we are very proud to announce that we have a 100% pass rate, with all students being awarded the full diploma. The results this year follow three very challenging years of pandemic learning and disruption for our students, with results achieved across the cohort some of the best we have seen at St Peter’s since 2009.

As expected, grade boundaries have been raised, much closer to 'normal' pre-pandemic levels. Despite this, fantastic results from our students again this year, and these are a credit to both our teaching team and the students themselves.

  • 100% pass rate, with all awarded the full diploma.
  • Julie Brouwer was awarded a bilingual diploma (as she sat 2 x Literature A subjects).
  • 6 students 40+ top scholars : Amisha Sadani, Jack Dams, Paige Hughes, Jessica Walton, Daniel Norris and Fleming Wang.
  • Average grade 34 points with the world average being 30.9.
  • More 7s (21 in total), and less 3s (7 in total) overall, with no grade lower than a 3 across the entire range of subjects.
  • 4 x A grades for Theory of Knowledge (13% of cohort), up from 3 last year which was 7% of 2021 cohort.
  • 3 x A grades for Extended Essay (10% of cohort), 2 x A grades for English Extended Essay (Masha Gavrilova and Rheannah Rapley) and one A for History (Fleming)
