Monica Faumui

Five St Peter’s Premier Netballers have been selected for the Netball NZ National Development Camp as a pathway towards the New Zealand Secondary Schools Netball Team for 2021.

Congratulations to Taiana Day, Savannah Samson-Tuinukuafe, Sade Kaipara-Morrison, Emma Wilkie and Monica Faumui.  Selection for this squad was based on a unique process this year where each Zone/Region identified emerging talent from their regions and then Selectors reviewed each player prior to selection.  All these St Peter’s players are part of the Waikato Bay of Plenty U18 Squad.  The 3-day camps take place throughout the North Island in mid-January and we are excited to have so many St Peter’s netballers as part of this process.

Our Premier Coach and Netball Director, Te Aroha Keenan, has been named as the New Zealand Secondary Schools Netball Coach for 2021, a credit and accolade to her experience and expertise coaching at this level.
