Fifty riders competed in tests over seven different levels, designed to encourage young riders to participate in dressage.

Two St Peter’s riders had outstanding results.

Tayla McDonald was Level 3 Champion and also took the reserve on her second horse, while Tallula Rainger was the Training Level Champion.

Our Equestrian Academy students are making the most of every opportunity that is offered to them and achieving great results.

Organisers Leanne and Irina Smith received many favourable comments about the day.

The next dressage competition is on Sunday, 30 July, and the Young Riders Club will meet in the Equine Classroom on Wednesday 28 June.

The Guest Speaker will be Year 13 student Nicola Hammond who has recently been named in the Show Jumping New Zealand Talent ID Squad.
